Important Information Before Placing Your Order

At Glass Plaque SA, every plaque is handmade with care. Because of this, please allow for small variations — these are part of the handmade process and do not affect overall quality. Examples may include:

  • Slight alignment differences when album art is cut and placed.
  • Small offsets in the straightness of glass (as it is hand cut).
  • Minor print bubbles.

These are natural with handcrafted products, but your plaque will still be of high quality.

Custom Album Art

  • Please upload a high-resolution image. Low-quality uploads will affect the final print, and we cannot be held responsible.
  • If no image is uploaded, we will use the original album art (if available).

Turnaround Time

  • Standard Orders: Orders are processed Mon–Fri (09:00–16:00) and completed by the following week. Framed plaques take an extra 3 working days.
  • We update you through 8 stages of production, from design to tracking.
  • Please note: completion time depends on our workflow and not personal deadlines.

Priority Orders (R100)

Your order skips the waiting period and goes into the current batch. This speeds up processing but does not guarantee a fixed date.

Urgent Orders (R150)

We aim to complete in 2–3 working days, depending on availability. If you have a specific date, we’ll try our best to meet it, but delays may occur.

⚠️ Priority & Urgent Orders do not apply to framed plaques. Turnaround time excludes delivery.

Delivery & Packaging

We package all plaques securely. Delivery method matters:

  • Recommended: PostNet to PostNet (reliable, safer).
  • Less Recommended: Aramex (convenient but riskier).
  • No Longer Offered: PAXI (only available for keychains due to repeated damages).

Please Note

  1. We are not liable for courier-related glass damages.
  2. Printing errors/damages will be reprinted free of charge (within 2 weeks after approval). Return delivery is at the client’s cost.
  3. Once delivered, you are responsible for plaque care. Handle with caution — it is glass.
  4. We do not offer refunds, only replacements of equal value (Ts & Cs apply).
  5. Return delivery costs are the client’s responsibility, but we will reprint and resend at no extra charge.
  6. Our process takes time — please be patient and plan ahead.
